  • day rate is for a full day at the shop. Included is approximately 6-7 hours of tattooing, a scheduled break and lunch/snacks/beverages for the day are provided by me

  • please note that if you choose to book a day rate and choose to finish the appointment early, the cost is still the same
Deposits
A non-refundable deposit is taken to secure your appointment(s). Deposit amount depends on the size of the project. This deposit is taken off the final sitting if it's a multi sitting project. Deposits range from $100 to $400 on average, and upward for large or multi sitting projects. Amount depends on the size of project and sitting time requested and required. Your deposit is valid for one to two years, dependant on the size of your tattoo project. If you require more time to complete your projects and an extension on your deposit, please discuss options with me directly. General deposit guidelines are as follows:
  • Single sitting under three hours : $100
  • 1/2 day (3-4 hours): $200
  • Full day (6-8 hours): $400
  • Multiple bookings : Amount depends on number of days and amount of time booked

Payment
Payment is due in full upon completion of your tattoo appointment. I accept cash, debit and all major credit cards. Please note that there are additional transaction fees for all paper trail payments. Debit cards are 2%. Credit Cards are 4%. This amount is applied to the total transaction.

Reschedules/Cancellations
I require 72 hrs notice to reschedule. If you need to reschedule, please give me as much notice as possible so I can book someone else in your spot. If you give less than 72hrs notice, or no show, you will forfeit the deposit. If your reschedule more than twice for the same project, you forfeit the deposit. If you choose not to get tattooed (outright cancel) you will forfeit the deposit. If your deposit has gone towards one of the above mentioned scenarios, another one will be required before I can book you in again or continue with your project.

Arriving Early/Late
Please arrive no more than 5 minutes early to your appointment. The spaces I work in are small and do not have much waiting space. If you show up super early, please enjoy a walk or one of the many lovely coffee shops nearby until it's time for your appointment. If you're going to be late, please get ahold of me as soon as possible by either email, phone call, text or DM. I allow a 15/20 minute grace period for everyone. After that, if I still have not heard from you, then your appointment will be cancelled and deposit forfeit.

Drawings
I do thorough consultations with thumbnail drawings, so there usually is a general layout of what I'm thinking in my notes before the consultation is complete.
For smaller work (under 6 hours) I will have your finalized drawing ready the day of your tattoo appointment. I make sure there is adequate time for small adjustments if needed for adequate placement if they are required at the start of your appointment. If you would like to see the rough concept I sketch out, by all means I can send you this the night or morning beforehand.
For larger work I will reach out approximately 3- 4 days or so before our first sitting with my rough concepts and sketches. I send these via email to discuss the project and confirm concepts. Once the rough concept has been approved, I will get started on your final drawing which will be ready the day of your first tattoo appointment.
If you decide on the day of your tattoo appointment that the artwork is not for you and you ask me to redraw your artwork, majority of the time I'm on board. We will look at times to reschedule you, an additional deposit will need to be put in place for the new booking. I will then take that day we were scheduled to tattoo to redo our consultation and redraw your art when my schedule allows and in conjunction with your tattoo appointment rebooked.
Please note there will be an additional cost associated with your request to compensate my extra time towards your project. This happens rarely but please be note that my hourly drawing rate is $100/hour (not including GST) for any extra drawing work outside the normal amount set aside for each project.

Additional Involvement
For individuals who wish to be more involved in the design process (such as multiple art checks/multiple design collaboration meetings/etc) I offer these services at an additional cost. Please let me know if this is the way which you wish to approach your tattoo and we can discuss options and costs associated with these additional services.

Bringing Friends
Feel free to bring someone along for your session; however, we kindly ask that you limit it to a maximum of one person. Please be mindful that every studio I'm in is a working space, and I strive to maintain a comfortable and professional environment for both clients and artists. Children (anyone under 18) and pets that are not authorized service animals are not permitted in the studios/shops.

Touchups
Sometimes tattoos need a bit of extra care after the last session. It's normal to encounter small imperfections in the healing process, and I more than willing to restore my work to the same standard it was at upon completion of your tattoo. Once the tattoo is no longer in the peeling, itchy, or scabbing phase, indicating complete healing, then a touch up appointment can be done. I offer this at no hourly cost for any of my work that may not have healed the way it was supposed to within 3 months of completing the tattoo. There are exceptions. Areas such as, but not limited to, inner lip, fingers, hands, feet, toes and soles will always need multiple touchups due to the type of skin and overall wear and tear, so unfortunately touchups are not included in these zones. As well, any tattoo that was carelessly healed (excessive sun exposure, soaking, picking, etc) is also not covered. A reduced hourly rate applies after the three month time period has lapsed or for any tattoo not covered.
