RATES
I've decided to take a different approach as to how I price my work for the start of 2025. Here are the ways I will be approaching all projects and appointments, both new and in progress, moving forward:

FLAT RATES - this method will be applied to all projects that will take me 6-7 hours or less (1 appointment):
  • Cost is determined based off of type of tattoo project, size, complexities, location on body, equipment required per appointment and level of involvement requested by the client
  • Flat rates are quoted based off of the amount of tattoo time needed in a single session and my take on where placement is best based off our initial consult and request factors. If I choose to put more time into the project during either the drawing or stencil/tattoo session to make sure the artwork and placement is the level I wish it to be, that extra time is on me
  • The flat rate does not include drawing alteration requests, multiple stencil placement/adjustment requests, multiple break requests or more appointments requests than one sitting. I am more than happy to facilitate these extra time requests. Please note that this additional time (if required) is factored separately and added on top of the overall predetermined quote
  • If you are not able to complete your tattoo during your single session appointment (ex-you choose to tap out for whatever reason) and you request an additional appointment to complete the tattoo, total flat rate cost is still due and an additional booking fee will be required. This overpayment amount will act as your deposit for your additional requested. Please read below for how deposits are used

DAY RATES - this method is one of two choices for all projects that will require 8 hours or more (2 or more appointments):
  • $700 is HALF DAY RATE. It is a 4 hour time slot. Included is approximately 3 to 3.5 of tattooing, time for stencilling/figuring out any small details, as well as time accounted for a small break. If I'm available and we decide to work longer than the scheduled time, I charge additional hours @ $175/HR
  • $1200 is FULL DAY RATE. It is an 8 hour time slot. Included is approximately 6.5 to 7 hours of tattooing, time for stencilling/figuring out any small details, a scheduled lunch break as well as time accounted for another small break. If I'm available and we decide to work longer than the scheduled time, I charge additional hours @ $150/HR.
  • You are more than welcome to use your time during your appointment as you see fit. If you need to or wish to take more breaks than what's included in your appointment time slot, you are more than welcome too. Please know that your cost for either the 4 or 8hr time slot will still be the same regardless of whether we achieve the approximated tattoo time.
  • If there is additional time required during the appointment(s) (ex: drawing change requests by the client, multiple stencil placement requests, etc), this time is charged at a prorated rated cost and overall amount can tallied up and paid for at the end of each session
  • Please note that if you book a half or full day rate and choose to finish the appointment early, the cost is still the same
  • This method is a great option for people who know their pain tolerances and are able to commit to longer sittings.
  • Half and full day rates are prorated to reflect the time and commitment to your project, therefore providing you with a better overall cost
  • Another benefit of this method is I can complete a project much faster with dedicated longer appointments

HOURLY RATES-
this method is one of two choices for all projects that will require 8 hours or more (2 or more appointments):
  • Hourly rate varies based off of location, equipment required per appointment, the type and size of the tattoo project, the complexities of the overall concept and level of involvement requested by the client
  • The range is a sliding scale of $150 to $250 per hour. The rate will be set during the consultation process
  • Hourly rate begins once the stencilling (if required) or tattooing process starts and stops once your tattoo is bandaged. I do not stop the clock for breaks so please assess how you wish to spend your appointment so you can get the most value for the overall cost
  • Please note that you will be charged for the amount of hours booked if you choose to end the appointment earlier than scheduled. If we complete your project in less time than the booked time slot, you will only be charged for the time required
  • Minimum booking time is two hours per appointment
  • This method is a great option for individuals who are not able to commit to longer sittings or have limited time in their schedule

DEPOSITS

A non-refundable deposit is required from anyone wanting to secure any appointment(s) with me. The deposit acts as a retainer to ensure you will arrive to your appointment on time and ready to be tattooed. Once the project is completed, the deposit will go towards your final cost on that particular session. The deposit amounts depends on the size of your project, time required for an appointment and the number of appointments required/requested. Your deposit is valid for one to two years, dependant on the size of your tattoo project. You will be notified of when it expires during the consultation process and the date will be noted for both our records. If you require more time to complete your projects, please reach out to discuss the possibility of an extension on your deposit. Extensions are on a case by case basis. Deposit amounts listed below are per appointment booked. If you wish to book multiple appointments in advance, a deposit will be taken for each booking. Alternatively you can also choose to roll over your deposit from one appointment to the next each time to rebook at the end of a tattoo session. Deposit amounts are as follows:

  • 2 hours booked tattoo time or less : $100
  • 1/2 day booked tattoo time (3-4 hours): $200
  • Full day booked tattoo time (6-8 hours): $400
Please note the exceptions to which your deposit will be forfeit that are mentioned below.

RESCHEDULES/CANCELLATIONS
I require 72 hrs notice to reschedule. If you need to reschedule, please give me as much notice as possible so I can book someone else in your spot. If you give less than 72hrs notice, or no show, you will forfeit the deposit. If your reschedule more than twice for the same project, you forfeit the deposit. If you choose not to get tattooed (outright cancel) you will forfeit the deposit. If you don't complete your project within the active deposit timeline (1 to 2 years, dependant on the size of the project), the deposit is forfeit. If your deposit has gone towards one of the above mentioned scenarios, another one will be required before I can book you in again or continue with your project.

ARRIVING EARLY/LATE
Please arrive no more than 5 minutes early to your appointment. The spaces I work in are small and do not have much waiting space. If you show up super early, please enjoy a walk or one of the many lovely coffee shops nearby until it's time for your appointment. If you're going to be late, please get ahold of me as soon as possible by either email, phone call, text or DM. I allow a 15/20 minute grace period for everyone. After that, if I still have not heard from you, then your appointment will be cancelled and deposit forfeit.

DRAWINGS
I do thorough consultations with thumbnail drawings, so there usually is a general layout of what I'm thinking in my notes before the consultation is complete.
For smaller work (under 6 to 7 hours) I will have your finalized drawing ready the day of your tattoo appointment. If you would like to see the rough concept I have sketched out, by all means I can send you this the morning of your appointment. I will ask if you would like this option during our consult. It will not be sent earlier. I make sure there is adequate time for small adjustments surrounding the placement if this step is required at the start of your appointment.
For larger work I will reach out approximately 3 days before our first sitting with my rough concepts and sketches. I send these via email to confirm your concepts based off our initial consult. It will not be sent earlier. Once the rough concept has been approved, I will get started on your final drawing which will be ready the day of your first tattoo appointment. I make sure there is adequate time for small adjustments surrounding the placement if this step is required at the start of your appointment.
It rarely happens but if you decide on the day of your tattoo appointment that the artwork is not for you, then you have two options - you can outright cancel or we can rebook and redraw your artwork. A new deposit will be required for the new booking. Your original deposit will be used to cover the time required for your original concept. I will then take that day we were scheduled to tattoo you to redo our consultation and I will redraw your art when my schedule allows and in conjunction with your new tattoo appointment.

ADDITIONAL INVOLVEMENT
For individuals who wish to be more involved in the design process (such as multiple art checks/multiple design collaboration meetings/etc) I offer these services at an additional cost. Please let me know if this is the way which you wish to approach your tattoo and we can discuss options and costs associated with these additional service requests

BRINGING A SUPPORT PERSON
Feel free to bring someone along for your session if you need the support; however, we kindly ask that you limit it to a maximum of one person. Please be mindful that every studio I'm in is a working space, and I strive to maintain a comfortable and professional environment for all clients and artists in the space. Dependant on the location, your support person may be able to sit with you or they may have to wait for you in a separate area of the studio/shop. Anyone under 18 and pets that are not authorized service animals are not permitted in the studios/shops

PAYMENTS
Payment is due in full upon services rendered for each individual tattoo appointment. Overall cost is determined by which method of rates you choose to go with (please see rate list above). I accept cash, debit and all major credit cards. Please note that there are additional transaction fees for all paper trail payments. Debit cards are 1.5%. Credit Cards are 4%. This amount is applied to the total transaction.

TOUCHUPS
Sometimes tattoos need a bit of extra care after the last session. It's normal to encounter small imperfections in the healing process, and I am more than willing to restore my work to the same standard it was at upon completion of your tattoo. Once the tattoo is no longer in the peeling, itchy or scabbing phase then a touch up appointment can be done. This healing phase mentioned takes approximately 30 days after your last tattoo session. I offer touchups at no hourly cost for any of my work that may not have healed the way it was supposed to based off my application within 3 months of completing the tattoo. I do charge a set up fee of $30-$50 for all touchup appointments. This amount depends on the amount of equipment required and will be determined at the start of the appointment. There are exceptions. Areas such as, but not limited to inner lip, fingers, hands, feet and toes will always need multiple touchups due to the type of skin and overall wear and tear, so unfortunately touchups are not included in these zones. As well, any tattoo that was carelessly healed (excessive sun exposure, soaking, picking, etc) is also not covered. Trust me, we can tell the difference whether it was due to our application as the tattooer or your healing process as the client. Also, if you cancel/reschedule with less than 72 hours notice or no show a touchup appointment, another one will not be granted and touchups will be charged at full hourly rate for that location. If you forget to contact me within the three month time period for a touchup, no worries, A reduced hourly rate applies after the three month time period has lapsed or for any tattoo not covered.

GIFT CERTIFICATES & GIVEAWAYS
Gift certificates are valid for one year from the date of purchase. Same with giveaways (valid one year from the winning date).
